Eldest.

I did end up getting my "Elder" title, and wear it proudly.  There has recently been some guild drama however, and thus caused my lack of being online.  IT really sucked a lot of the "feeling" that we had as a guild, which was part of the reason i played.  I know that this was the reason for at least 1 other member too.  it was really sad to see people that ive been playing with for going on 3 years to just up and end something that was really great.

I want to be old.

I am currently working on the series of achievements to be able to get
my "Elder" title. I am not one to go crazy with the achievements and
am only really trying for the ones that end up giving you something
when you complete them. Such as the elder ones, the explorer ones, an
the ones that give you mounts. J still have to go into quite a few
instances at this point but I know hat it will be worth it when I'm
done.

Play Time

Lately I have been on a bit less often than I would like to be.  And there is a good reason, but at the current moment I do not wish to say what it is.  I do however feel as though I really SHOULD be on more often seeing as the time that I do have available to play was made so by someone else.  To them I owe a very large thanks!  There have been a few other things that have made me not wish to be online as much, but I wont go into them as it concerns other people and I am hoping that things just get themselves straightened out.  Also, this was just a test post from a setup at work to see if I can post from here with ease.

Interesting Read

I regularly read a blog by a person who goes by the name of Graylo, and a POST that he just made really caught my attention.  While he goes over a lot of the math behind the spells and talents we use, i dont really pay much attention to the insane bits in the middle of the equations, and focus mainly on the results and figures there.  Because of this I am temped yet again to possibly rethink how i might want my talents in the future.  Grr, for not really reading up on all of this right when I dinged 80.  But with that aside, I really think that it might be the best move, and I will figure out a revised talent build tomorrow at work.

DPS and Raiding: My Take

The little red arrow tells me that Thrall is currently non-existent for me to be able to mess with things in-game, so I thought that I could spend some time thinking about my performance for raiding. To burn the time I clicked on over to Elitist Jerks for some reading material. There are a few different opinions as to how to accomplish the task of attaining higher raid DPS, and I might follow a few of them. One of the theories is to drop talents from Nature's Reach, to be able to put the points into other, more DPS oriented talents. The only issue I have with dropping the talents from NR is that if done, I would lose the 30% threat reduction that it gives me. I'm not sure how much I might actually want or need that for raiding. I currently DO have it, and am not experiencing any issues with managing my threat. There are also lots of talk regarding the issue of mana and going /oom, but I have found that for the most part, if there is at least one Shaman, or sPriest, or a combo of those, or anything else that gives any sort of mana buffing that my mana is not really a problem. I might test out moving my points around to see where I can take things and improve my DPS, just to see what I can do.

*Edit* I might go with this talent spec to see what its like.

Gearing up for slowing down

The first post of 2009!!  Holy cow things have flown by since I was able to reactivate my account back at the beginning of December!  I flew threw 10 levels and have started to decently gear myself.  In the last week or so I've been slowly snatching up the gear I've had my eye on such as that Titansteel Guardian (although there are still lots of things I'd like to upgrade to) and it's been great. Really only issue now is that I am coming to the end of where I'm all paid up for my account. And I might be coming up on another period that I might have to be responsible and not spend my money on the pleasure of playing WoW. Only time will tell as to what the following months might bring. Carry on.

Top Notch on the Pole

As of 1:00 am this morning (last night) Shaard is officially 80! And it only took 25 days! That averages out to about .4 levels per day, which is most likely the fastest I've ever done any 10 levels since the first 10. I would like to thank Chickenheart for giving me the "inspiration" to get back on the horse and get it done. As for whats next, im not sure. pretty sure i will be farming the mats for my [Titansteel Guardian] but besides that, nothing is really planned yet.

Nature's Reach

Just testing out the system to make sure that if I ever get a totally crazy idea while I'm stuck at a ridiculously long red light I will be able to post it up on the fly and not lose the thought. Ok now back to sleep.

Queue the /dance

Hey all, just dropping in the first post here.  In the future this will have anything and everything that comes across my mind as I play, think about, and live as a moonkin.
